That “Extra Thing”
Deborah blogged me out and didn’t even say anything! And she went and got herself featured
as a delightful suburban blogger, knitter and part-time comedian on Black Purl Magazine.
She and I both were among a group of 50 or more women that filled a Women’s Club as extra’s for Vanessa Williams and Eartha Kitt’s independent movie which was just released, “And Then Came Love.”
Well, you must read Deborah’s entry, check out the trailer,
and then take a peek at my video (shamelessly made with my Canon 4.0 megapixel camera, held in my lap) from our “extra” work event last year.
BTW, I was able to see myself in the movie (yellow suit, center bottom of the screen at the Ladies Who Lunch) but Deborah dressed in blue (seen at the end in my video) is unfortunately not.
It was a dreadfully hot, humid day and an eye-opening experience, for sure. We sat for at least six hours for – FREE – and just for the hope of getting caught on camera! When I left the production, I immediately threw out the linen suit I was wearing, it and everything underneath was drippingly wet!
It’s hard out there for an actor! I will definitely stick to barking out “2 sets of forward lunges, followed by squats,” and wearing my baseball caps!
