Judy, Sarah and Dick

Sarah as in Palin; Judy as in Garland and Dick as in Cavett, that is.  This is a must read opinion by the latter posted in the NYT after the famous interview and is right on point.

Now why is Judy Garland made a reference, you ask?

Watching a woman, slight of build and full of pizazz so thoroughly bedazzle a vast audience is entertaining. Something chimed in my memory when she brought that crowd to its feet with frantic and worshipful cheering.

Ah, yes. I had seen it all before.

It was Judy Garland at The Palace.

And yet no one offered her the vice-presidency

38 Million Viewers

Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama brings her message clearly, succinctly and tastefully to the DNC. Barack said in an email to all supporters,

“I am so lucky to be married to the woman who delivered that speech last night. Michelle was electrifying, inspiring, and absolutely magnificent. I get a lot of credit for the speech I gave at the 2004 convention — but I think she may have me beat.”

You have to see it to believe it, for yourself.

Disappointed but not Deterred

I woke up Wednesday morning, March 5th at 2:00am and checked CNN news to find my mouth dropping by the results of the primary in OH and TX. To say I was surprised and disappointed is an understatement. I had a hard time getting back to sleep and was really cranky the next morning.
