Do Nothing?!

Doing Nothing It is pretty amazing. The damage we can do to ourselves without even being present in the process. I work extremely hard at helping other people work hard on themselves. I pride myself on the consistent, hard work I do to my own body. I admonish others to work to their own limits and set a mean example of exactly that in my own work.

Whether it be strength training in the gym, Pilates in the studio, or my feeble attempts at following my yoga instructor, I try to work with high quality, excellent form and love pushing myself to that end to achieve the best results for the time spent at work. Read the rest of this entry →

Princess Collar

This is a personal story.  It reflects a very personal artistic piece.  A custom design.  I call it my Princess Collar.  All princess collar the elements are one of a kind.  Each stone, each bead, each strand; the origin of each of the stones; the love, respect and honor of the man who selected the gems, the artist who crafted the finished piece and the delight I have in adorning my neck with the history they represent. 90 Minute Workouts

As you know, I voted, donated and stumped in the primary and general election for Obama.  I cried at the foot of the TV watching his speech, not just on November 4th, but virtually every time he did speak. Read the rest of this entry →

Ah, yes. I had seen it all before.

It was Judy Garland at The Palace.

And yet no one offered her the vice-presidency

Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama brings her message clearly, succinctly and tastefully to the DNC. Barack said in an email to all supporters,

“I am so lucky to be married to the woman who delivered that speech last night. Michelle was electrifying, inspiring, and absolutely magnificent. I get a lot of credit for the speech I gave at the 2004 convention — but I think she may have me beat.”

You have to see it to believe it, for yourself.

Disappointed but not Deterred

I woke up Wednesday morning, March 5th at 2:00am and checked CNN news to find my mouth dropping by the results of the primary in OH and TX. To say I was surprised and disappointed is an understatement. I had a hard time getting back to sleep and was really cranky the next morning.
